How to set up a teacher training session for your school/district/area . . .

In order to teach the "Cast A Fly, Catch A Student" Curriculum of the National FlyFishing in Schools Program, a teacher must be certified by an NFFSP Certified Teacher Trainer (CTT for short.)  Such certification requires a teacher to:

  • attend a one-day course
  • pass a certification exam administered by a CTT at the conclusion of training

Training sessions are established in 2 ways:

  1. Regularly-scheduled training . . . NFFSP arranges these sessions at various times and locations to accommodate general needs in the area (see the teacher training schedule for these dates)
  2. Customized-scheduled training . . . these are scheduled based upon request(s) from teachers, schools, districts, states and regions on an "on demand" basis

If you would like to be informed of training dates, or to discuss arranging a Customized "Teacher Training" for your needs, please contact us.
